Science Workshop for Monastic Graduates

This year with we launched a new 1-month pilot project to provide science training and engage in dialogue monks and nuns that have finished their formal monastic training. Participants in the program include Geshes, Khenpos, and Lopons.

Intensive Translation Programme 2013

The Library of Tibetan Works and Archives (LTWA), Dharamsala, is going to organize the 8th three-month Intensive Translation Program (ITCP) from 1st July to 30th September 2013. The ITCP will exclusively cover the various methods and practices adopted in the translation of Buddhist teachings.

Dr. Chok Tenzin Monlam

Dr. Chok Tenzin Monlam is the head of the Research and Translation Department. He joined the LTWA in 2007. One of the research works that he has been doing since 2001 is on how to teach Tibetan as a foreign language. He has started to teach his findings to hundreds of foreign students from all walks of life for the last three years.
