May 12-14

Visit of LTWA General Secretary, Ngawang Yeshi and Deputy Secretary, Tenzin Lhawang, to Denmark to discuss about the LTWA and Aarthus Universitet future joint initiatives has been postponed.

The director, Geshe Lhakdor, will attend the 14th five day CTA Terminology Finalisation Meeting in Dharamsala


June  7 - 10           

For four days, the director, Geshe Lhakdor, will do the daily review of the Chapter 4, 5 and 6 of Bodhicharyavatara after these have been taught by His Holiness as requested by the Indian community from various parts of India. These teaching will be held in the main temple, Dharamsala


June 14 – 16

The director, Geshe Lhakdor, will attend the three day meeting of the Loseling Monasterie’s rules and regulations Draft Preparation Committee in Drepung Loseling Monastery


June 20 – 24

A five day Photo Exhibition, photos from Amdo, will be held at LTWA Annexe building


June 19 – July 2

Emory Medical students will visit and stay at LTWA for two weeks for regular meditation sessions and introduction on the basic features of Buddhism


July 1 – 8

The director Geshe Lhakdor will visit Spain for the Secular Ethics Education implementation in Europe and also to give Buddhist teaching to the Nalanda Program


July 1 – 30th September

A three month Intensive Translation Program will be held at LTWA

9 am - 12:30 pm The director, Geshe Lhakdor, will teach on The Role of Mind in the Pursuit of Happiness and Secular Ethics Education to Gurukul students, university students from various parts of India

The director, Geshe Lhakdor, will attend the 15th five day CTA Terminology Finalisation Meeting in Dharamsala.

One month long Monastic Graduates Science Workshop will be held at LTWA

November 16 - 20

The director, Geshe Lhakdor, will give his third 3 day annual teaching in Mumbai. 


November 28 – December 11    

LTWA will organize two week science Leadership Institute at Gaden Jangtse Monastery


December 18 – 20

The Emory University, Atlanta, Gaden Phodrang Trust and LTWA will jointly organize a three day Emory Tibet Symposium: "Bridging Science and Buddhism for Mutual Enrichment" at Drepung Monastery. It will be attended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and many other leading Western Science scholars and Tibetan Buddhist scholars. This is organized on the occasion of the completion of 600 years since Drepung Monastery was founded.
