ETSI Summer Workshop.
Professor David Henderson and Mr. Luke from American University with the help of translators from Tibetan Library at Dhasa, Ganden, a Bonpo Emory monk and a Tibetan marine biologist have taught philosophy of science to the first year monk student at Ganden Jangtse Science Center for a week. It began on 17th May and concluded on 22nd May, 2016. A focused discussion moderated by Dr. Gayle Desbordes between western philosophers and Tibetan Buddhist scholars were conducted at the end of the class.
From 24 - 27 May the director will participate in an interreligious gathering in Bangalore and speak Harmony of Religions from Buddhist perspective on tolerance and inculcation of love and peace.

is Eminence Ganden throne holder, Rizong Rinpoche presided over the opening ceremony of Ganden Jangtse Science Center at Ganden Monastery, Mundgod and opened it on 16th May, 2016 along with abbots, former abbots n discipline masters of Ganden Monastery, settlement officer, American university professors from Emory and America, translators from Emory, LTWA, Ganden n Drepung and others, monk science leaders n students of Ganden Jangtse and Shartse.
LTWA is organizing its 11th three-month intensive translation program from 1st July to 30th September 2016. Applications for the program must reach the LTWA office along with the required documents on or before 15th June 2016

Glimpses of the book release: Honourable Education Minister of the CTA, Kalon Ngodup Tsering la, launches one of the latest LTWA publications – a Tibetan translation of “Dharamsala and Beijing: The Negotiations That Never Were” authored by Claude Arpi.
